The Seniors Care sector goes by many names – Long Term Care (or LTC or Long-Term Care), Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Continuing Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Seniors Housing.
Whatever you call it, we’ve noticed there aren’t many resources targeted to your specific needs.
Yes health care or Nursing Leadership resources are relevant, but not quite since your communities are your residents’ homes (i.e. not institutions).
And then there’s balancing the different departments’ needs – Resident Care (including memory care / dementia care), Dining, Engagement (aka activities), Housekeeping (aka facilities). But how to do that when Care is the overwhelming majority in terms of staffing?
